Red Cross Certification

NAB College is proud to introduce the Red Cross Training Program, offering a comprehensive selection of nine Ontario recognized certification courses. These programs are designed to equip students, professionals, and community members with essential lifesaving skills that meet current workplace, health, and safety standards.

Through a combination of expert instruction and hands-on training, participants gain the confidence and competence to respond effectively during medical emergencies. All courses follow Canadian Red Cross guidelines and provide certifications that are widely accepted across various industries.

CPR/AED Blended Program

The CPR/AED Blended Program provides essential training in recognizing and responding to cardiac emergencies and choking incidents. This program combines online learning with in-person practical training, allowing participants to learn theory at their own pace while developing critical hands-on skills in the classroom. Depending on the level selected (A or C), training covers lifesaving techniques for adults, children, and infants, including high-quality CPR and the proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This program is ideal for individuals who require CPR certification for employment, education, or personal preparedness.

BLS Program

The Basic Life Support (BLS) Program is designed for healthcare professionals and first responders who may be required to manage life-threatening emergencies as part of their role. This advanced program focuses on high-performance CPR, team-based resuscitation, airway management, and effective use of advanced lifesaving equipment.

Participants develop the skills needed to respond confidently in fast-paced clinical and emergency environments, following the most current resuscitation science and Red Cross standards.

Emergency First Aid Program

The Emergency First Aid Program prepares participants to provide immediate care during medical and injury-related emergencies until professional help arrives. The program focuses on common workplace and community emergencies, including severe bleeding, shock, breathing emergencies, and sudden illness.

Using a blended learning approach, participants gain practical, easy-to-apply skills that emphasize quick decision-making, safety, and effective response. This program is well-suited for workplaces, students, and individuals seeking basic first aid certification.

Standard First Aid Blended

Comprehensive training program in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), designed for individuals requiring certification for occupational purposes or seeking the skills to effectively manage medical emergencies in domestic or community settings.
