BLS Program
This program is designed to strengthen participant confidence in delivering high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within a team-based response setting, making it ideal for professionals with a responsibility to act in emergencies. The course emphasizes rapid patient assessment, effective Basic Life Support (BLS) techniques, and timely defibrillation, including proper operation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Optional add-on certifications in Airway Management and Oxygen Therapy are also available.
Participants who successfully complete the course receive a one-year Basic Life Support certification, issued upon completion.
Program Overview
- To successfully complete the course, participants must:
- Competently perform and demonstrate all required practical skills
- Achieve a minimum score of 75% on the written, closed-book knowledge assessment
- Maintain full attendance and actively participate in all course sessions
COURSE DURATION – BASIC LIFE SUPPORT / BLS RECERTIFICATION
- Stand-alone course: 4 hours
- With Airway Management: 5 hours
- With Oxygen Therapy: 5 hours
- With both Airway Management and Oxygen Therapy: 6 hours
Recertification
- Duration: 2 hours
